Frisbee Golf

A Friend Told Me That New Zealand Is Full Of People Playing Frisbee Golf

Frisbee Golf, also known as Frolf or disc golf, is a sport that involves a Frisbee, a course and a target. It is much like golf because it uses many of the same rules and terminology. However, unlike golf, Frisbee Golf is a fairly inexpensive sport. There are courses open to players and teams in many public parks.

Instead of balls and clubs, players use flying discs, or Frisbees. The discs are thrown through a course until the players near the target similar to how golfers drive their balls through a course until they near the green. The player's location on the course will determine which size disc the player will use. The targets that players are trying to reach are metal baskets that are usually hung on posts or trees. The object of Frisbee Golf is to get your disc into the basket with the fewest throws.

A Frisbee Golf course usually consists of either 18 or 24 holes. The lengths of the holes generally range between 150 and 500 feet. Just like a golf course, a Frisbee golf course will have terrain changes, shrubbery, water, trees and other hazards that a player must avoid. Each hole will have a par level just like golf.

Frisbee lovers are finding that Frolf is a great sport that enables them to utilize their throwing skills. However, it should be noted that it isn't just Frisbee lovers who are learning how to play the game. Many people are picking up the discs and learning how to play. Frisbee golf is a good form of exercise, it doesn't require a large investment in equipment, it allows people to be outdoors, it enables the players the chance to enjoy the camaraderie of friends and the sport itself poses a challenge even to the most experienced throwers.

Frisbee golf is the perfect game for most anyone, no matter their skill level. The game is friendly and even experienced players encourage and welcome new players. While the game was once dominated by men, it has expanded over the years. Women, children and even entire families are participating in the fun. Believe it or not, many people are playing Frisbee golf on their first dates! What could break the ice more than a walk through the park, a game of Frolf and nice picnic to top off the day? The rise in popularity of Frisbee golf over the past few years is a sure sign that the game is here to stay.

Is my online dating profile ok? girls please help?
Hi, I just got into online dating, just wondering what you girls thought about my profile, is it ok? if not how could I make it more attractive to women. Thanks I love the outdoors, anything with wheels and exploring the country, especially WI. Most people say that I'm laid back, down-to-earth affectionate easy to talk to, and sometimes very sarcastic. I see life as a glass that's always half-full and I take pleasure in the simple things - Frisbee golf, mountain biking, snowmobiling, road trips, motorcycles and fishing, I am always on the go! I really like animals, especially cat's, so I am looking for someone who also likes animals. I'm really not much into drinking and going to bars anymore, but I do go out once and a while. I'm keeping my eyes open for the girl-next-door who values honesty open communication shares my love of outdoor excitement and is always up for trying new things.
